At the fifth-stage of birthing the soul and death/dissolution of the ego mind there is surrender and acceptance of the truth about the dual nature of the mind.
You can accept that you are capable of being both an angel or a devil, or a mix of both. Depending upon which aspects of the mind you feed with your feelings. Remember it is primarily the negative emotions like fear, anger, depression, envy and jealousy that fuel the ego mind.
It is your awareness and acceptance of your light and dark elements that frees you to become whole and integrated as a unified being.
At the acceptance stage you end the ego’s power games that always act to subvert you from taking complete responsibility for your life. At this stage you stand your ground.
Excuses and blaming others for what’s happened in your life no longer passes muster to control your behaviors.
At this final stage you accept responsibility for your life experience and finally become empowered to "discern" higher choices for yourself. Rather than repeating the same old patterns of victimhood.
"Discernment" is self respect in action. You’ve wised up to the ego’s power plays that distract you from the truth operating in any given situation. You fully accept that you are responsible for yourself and your life. This acceptance of responsibility for one’s life is at the core of ‘real’ success in anyone’s life.
Whereas, "judgment" separates you from the world-at-large and is fear based.
Experiment with the two, discernment and judgment. Can you feel the difference between them energetically?
To fully birth the soul you must disrupt the power games you’ve fallen for by the ego mind (often unconsciously) that keep you under its spell and ongoing control over you. You must become weary of making life decisions that leave you feeling unfulfilled. You put your foot down and say enough is enough.
Courage
The key negative emotion by the ego mind to maintain its control over you is fear. Fear’s main characteristic is resistance, not surprising the exact opposite of acceptance. As long as the ego mind can keep triggering the emotion of fear within you it will maintain control.
To overcome the emotion of fear you must have COURAGE to take responsibility for yourself and your life.
The emotion of courage is centered in the heart. The central character quality of courage is self respect.
Gratitude
One of the quickest ways to turn on feelings of self respect is the emotion of gratitude. When you are grateful for someone, or something, you automatically turn on feelings of self worth which give rise to self respect.
Try it for yourself any time you are feeling fearful, or running negative emotions like anger, depression, envy, or jealousy, start focusing your attention on something you are grateful for.
Gratitude is an all purpose healing salve for a wounded (unhealthy, or narcissistic) ego.
Your ego mind does not like this particular practice of giving thanks and being grateful as it automatically knocks the ego out of control which is its whole objective: To remain in control, so that it can exert power over you to get what it ‘thinks’ it wants.
You now understand that the full range of choices for “how you can choose to behave” are on the menu and must be if you’re to have the “free will” of choice to make the most of yourself and your life. You can live your life from a low, or high frequency. We’re born with certain fate/destiny, or karmic patterns, as shown in our personal astrology chart, but we can choose to activate and live from the highest frequency level of those patterns, or succumb to the lowest and most vile.
Through this final stage of acceptance you can access one of your greatest powers as a human being, the power of transcendence.
Transcendence means to move beyond the ordinary limits of what you imagine possible. Like the phoenix you have the power to rise from the ashes and experience a new (higher frequency) life.
