About PurePlant Essentials Founder, KG Stiles
KG Stiles, the founder and director of PurePlant Essentials, is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with over four decades of experience in the holistic health field. She began her professional clinical practice in 1980 and has specializes in formulating wellness blends for specific health, beauty and wellness concerns.
As an expert in her field, KG has developed aromatherapy products for a variety of health and beauty-related concerns, serving clients globally. She also offers custom signature formulations through the PurePlant Essentials store.
KG’s background as an integrative health specialist spans over 30 years, during which she held state massage licenses in both Hawaii (#6351) and Oregon (#2313, now retired). She earned her B.A. from UNC-Wilmington and has studied Jungian archetypal psychology, metaphysics, and social work. Her passion for transformational healing arts began in 1979 during her time at Findhorn, Scotland, and she went on to complete advanced coursework at Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego. Additionally, KG has experience with Ida Rolf’s structural integration and biodynamic farming techniques taught at Emerson College in Forest Row, England.
KG received her Aromatherapy Certification from the Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy and has furthered her training in energy medicine and metaphysical healing modalities. She also studied at Emerson College, a hub for Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophical initiatives.
KG has played a key role in integrating aromatherapy into hospital-based healthcare systems and currently serves as the Oregon (South) Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). She is also a NAHA-approved Continuing Education Provider, furthering the education and professional development of those in the holistic health field She has taught aromatherapy certification programs at hospitals, schools, and online courses, training allopathic and alternative healthcare professionals, business owners, students, and laypeople in the therapeutic use of essential oils.
KG’s expertise is reflected in her published articles, which have appeared in national, international, and industry trade magazines, including Massage Therapy Journal, Massage Today, Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine, Aromatherapy Today (Australia), and the NAHA Aromatherapy Journal. She is also the author of numerous self-help books and over 100 books on topics related to essential oils and holistic health.
