About PurePlant Essentials Founder, KG Stiles
KG Stiles, founder and director of PurePlant Essentials, is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with more than four decades of experience in the holistic health field. She began her professional clinical practice in 1980, specializing in energy healing and the formulation of wellness blends for health, beauty, and well-being. Over the years, her private clientele has included internationally recognized celebrities, athletes, and entrepreneurs, as well as hospitals and wellness centers.
As a recognized expert, KG has developed aromatherapy products for a wide range of health and beauty-related concerns, serving clients worldwide. She also offers custom signature formulations exclusively through PurePlant Essentials.
Her background as an integrative health specialist spans more than 40 years. During that time, she held state massage licenses in both Hawaii (#6351) and Oregon (#2313, now retired). She earned her B.A. from UNC–Wilmington and studied Jungian archetypal psychology, metaphysics, and social work. Her passion for the healing arts began in 1979 at the Findhorn community in Scotland, and she went on to complete advanced coursework at Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego. Additionally, she trained in Ida Rolf’s structural integration and studied biodynamic farming techniques at Emerson College in Forest Row, England.
KG received her Aromatherapy Certification from the Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy and continued her training in energy medicine and metaphysical healing modalities. She also studied at Emerson College, a hub for Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophical initiatives.
Over the years, KG has played a key role in integrating aromatherapy into hospital-based healthcare systems. She currently serves as Oregon (South) Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and is a NAHA-approved Continuing Education Provider, advancing education and professional development in the field. She has taught aromatherapy certification programs in hospitals, schools, and online, training healthcare professionals, business owners, students, and laypeople in the therapeutic use of essential oils.
KG’s expertise is also reflected in her published articles, which have appeared in national, international, and industry trade magazines, including Massage Therapy Journal, Massage Today, Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine, Aromatherapy Today (Australia), and the NAHA Aromatherapy Journal. She is the author of numerous self-help books and more than 100 works on essential oils and holistic health.
