Galbanum (Ferula galbaniflua)
The scent is earthy, herbal, warm, woody, balsamic and spicy.
An ancient oil and one of the oldest healing herbs. Both Hippocrates and Pliny the Elder, author and naturalist during the early Roman Empire ascribed “extraordinary curative powers” to galbanum. Its regenerative healing properties have been used for treating skin disorders and inflammation.
Cypress (Cupressus Sempervirens)
Its scent is fresh, sweet, spicy, woody and balsamic.
One of the most powerful astringent oils in aromatherapy. Used since ancient times for ritual cleansing and purification.
Cypress has an excellent reputation for enhancing blood circulation and strengthening the heart's energies.
Palma rosa (Cymbopogon martinii)
The scent is floral, rosy, herbaceous, warm and sweet.
Skin balancing and suitable for all skin types Palmarosa’s regulating and regenerative properties make it useful for promoting skin and wound healing.
May be useful for treating numerous skin conditions, including: acne, dermatitis, eczema, rash, and rosacea.
Rosemary ct. verbenon (Rosmarinus officinalis)
The scent is clean, fresh, woody and herbal with tenacious dry out notes.
Rosemary oil has the highest hydrogen content of all the essential oils which makes it a powerfully stimulating and warming oil. Effective for stimulating circulation of blood, lymph and nerve supply Rosemary is frequently recommended by many authorities for its cellular regenerative and nourishing powers.
Directions
To a 5ml (100 drops) euro-dropper bottle add:
- Galbanum - 40 drops
- Cypress - 40 drops
- Palmarosa - 10 drops
- Rosemary ct verbenon - 10 drops
Cap your bottle tightly and shake vigorously to thoroughly blend your essential oils together. Allow blend to synergize for 12 hours or longer before using. The oils act more powerfully together as a synergy blend than any one essential oil alone.
Use the herbal synergy blend in your healing salve recipe and other skin care formulations to promote healing.
