Learn how to heal reactive emotional patterns for both men and women. Plus, experience a meditation to re-establish harmony within yourself and with others, along with an EO harmonizer recipe to use.
Reactive emotional patterns can undermine and sabotage your happiness in life. One negative emotional pattern when triggered can wreak havoc and lead to a plethora of racing, negative thought patterns. Find and release the negative emotion underlying any negative thought patterns and you will instantly return to a harmonious mental state of awareness.
“Fear of life is really the fear of emotions. It is not the facts that we fear but our feelings about them. Once we have mastery over our feelings, our fear of life diminishes.”
― David R. Hawkins, Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender
Key Essential Oil to Use
Ylang Ylang III ( Cananga odorata ) - pronounced "eelang," is steam distilled from the flowers and means flower of flowers.
A distinctly feminine oil, Ylang Ylang is one of the best essential oils for healing negative and traumatized emotions. It is beneficial for healing emotional wounds for both men and women.
Use Ylang Ylang oil to soften hardened, reactive emotional patterns. Ylang Ylang is especially good for softening an overly masculine drive that may have developed as protective armor from previous emotional trauma.
Ylang Ylang III, the last fraction in the distillation process of the oil, is best for the purpose of emotional healing. Its aroma is more earthy, less sweet, slightly thicker and more grounding.
Chemical Class: Sesquiterpene
Comprised almost entirely of Sesquiterpenes, which are chemical compounds known to stimulate the liver and endocrine glands, give Ylang Ylang III its powerfully antispasmodic and sedative properties.
Research studies have shown that Ylang Ylang oil stimulates the central nervous system and can be helpful for alleviating depression.
Referred to as the “poor man’s jasmine,” Ylang is cultivated for the perfume trade like Jasmine and Rose oil.

Divine Harmony Meditation
Experience the healing power of the Divine Feminine with this meditation.
If you like you can invite the Archangel Raguel to assist you with your meditation. Raguel’s name means 'Friend of God'. Raguel is The Relationship Angel. Raguel's role is to oversee harmony in heaven, as well as on earth.
Dispense 1-3 drops of Ylang Ylang oil alone, or the Harmonizer EO Blend (see recipe below), on a cotton ball or smell strip. You may also scent your meditation space using the oil in a diffuser.
Get into a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed. Your spine is completely supported and you can relax fully.
Breathe in the lovely harmonizing scent of Ylang Ylang oil, then exhale any tension. Allow yourself to relax more and more deeply as you continue to breathe in the scent of Ylang.
Focus at your heart area and call upon Raguel (if you like), "Dear Raguel I call upon you now to assist me in releasing any previous grievances I may hold toward myself or anyone else. Please help me to re-establish harmony within myself and with others. Thank you for helping me know any actions I need to take to bring peace and harmony to my world." And so it is.
Continue breathing as you allow yourself to relax more deeply. When you're ready focus your awareness at the area of your third chakra (solar plexus) located at the area of your diaphragm just above your navel. Continue breathing as you relax and release any tension from this area of your body.
When you are ready move your attention to your second (sexual/sacral) chakra located in your lower abdomen just below your navel. Continue breathing as you allow yourself to relax more deeply, releasing any tension in this area.
When you feel complete with your meditation allow yourself to just relax quietly for a few minutes.
