Roman Chamomile is cherished for its beautifully soft, floral fragrance with gentle fruity undertones. Its aroma is smooth, rounded, and refined—often described as comforting and quietly elegant rather than sharp or overpowering.

Derived from Anthemis nobilis (also known as Chamaemelum nobile), Roman Chamomile comes from one of the most beloved herbs in Western tradition. It is historically referenced as one of the “Nine Sacred Herbs” in the ancient Anglo-Saxon manuscript Lacnunga, underscoring its long-standing cultural and aromatic significance.

While Roman and German Chamomile share a common name, they are distinct species with unique aromatic profiles. Roman Chamomile is especially prized for its gentle, composed scent and is often favored when a softer, more delicate chamomile presence is desired.

Roman Chamomile is widely used in perfumery, personal care, and aromatic rituals where a sense of ease, softness, and sensory comfort is appreciated. Its understated elegance makes it a staple oil for those who value subtlety, tradition, and refined aromatic balance.

BLEND WITH: Roman chamomile has a lovely sweet aroma and is quite lovely on its own. In a blend choose more soothing and emotionally supportive oils like, Helichrysum, Lavender, Bergamot, Rose, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Red Mandarin, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang. 

SUGGESTED USE ON LABEL: Adult: Dispense 1-3 drops on a cotton ball or smell strip and inhale, or as desired.

CAUTIONS: May cause sensitivity in some individuals. Those with known sensitivities or respiratory concerns should use with caution. Perform a patch test prior to topical use. Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy. If pregnant or under medical care, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
