Winter Solstice

The solstice is always a powerful period of transition on mother earth and for all of her children.

Solstice is always associated with the Sun and Fire Element. This Winter Solstice Ritual will prepare the way for the return of balance and healing in your life.

The Solstice is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day when the shortest period of daylight or the longest night of the year are reached. In the Northern Hemisphere the Winter Solstice is the December solstice and in the Southern Hemisphere this is the June Solstice. 

At the time of Solstice we’ve reached an extreme point in our year and will now begin our return journey to balance between both day and night at the Spring or Fall Equinox when day and night are perfectly balanced.

The time of Solstice, whether you live in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, is a perfect time to do a healing ritual that focuses on bringing balance. When any obstacles or resistance to union and peace are released, healing naturally occurs.   

Winter Solstice Celebration Ritual

I recommend you perform your Solstice Celebration Ritual just before the Sun Rises on Solstice Day whatever time that is for you in your part of the world.

What you will need:

A white candle
Essential Oils

I recommend scents that are earthy and grounding, as well as those that promote your visionary capacity and ability to see new possibilities for yourself.

Essential Oils to Use:

Spikenard, Galbanum, Vetiver, Patchouli, Lemongrass and Black Spruce.

Use one, or more of these oils in a blend, and scent your meditation space prior to your Solstice Celebration Ritual.

You are in a quite place where you will not be disturbed

Light your white candle and focus on the flame. The candle’s light is a reflection of your own inner Divine spark of light.

Within is a sacred inner space where the creative spark of life dwells and animates your being. This is your own personal pilot light that you can turn to as needed to bring light into any darkness and receive guidance.

Now is the time to go within your sacred inner space and be still.

Focus on the candle flame and allow it to join with the sacred eternal flame within your own heart. Allow yourself to be quiet and still as you absorb the union of light within your own heart.

You may wish to keep your candle flame burning through the time of Sunrise and for as long as feels right for you.

Christmas Healing Light Meditation
December 25th

Christmas Day we’re on the eve of the First Quarter Moon which occurs tomorrow, the 26th. Quarter Moons are great times for purification and release of emotional attachments, or any baggage you may be carrying from the past.

What happens around Christmas Day may give you a clue about what is just ahead for you in 2018.

We are headed for a Super Full Moon in Cancer on New Year’s Day, an especially potent day of illumination, celebration and culmination. Full Moons offer opportunities for awakening to something that’s been hidden. The theme surrounding a Cancer Full Moon is always related to family, home, early childhood roots and the foundations of your earthly existence.

In January we have two full moons, both are Super Full Moons and the second one, occurring on January 31st, happens to be our first Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of 2018. This year we shift from Spring time Eclipses to Winter Eclipses. Find out more about Eclipses and 2018 Eclipse Dates HERE.

I recommend performing your Christmas Healing Light Meditation at the time of the setting sun wherever you are in the world.

What you will need: 

A white candle
Essential Oils

Essential Oils to Use:

Black Spruce, Frankincense, Sweet Orange, Rosemary verbenon, Cinnamon Leaf, Sandalwood, Myrrh and Spikenard.

Use one, or more of these oils in a blend, and scent your meditation space prior to your meditation.

Light your white candle, then call upon Archangel Raphael to over light your meditation and, if you like, through the coming 2018 New Year.

Raphael’s name means “God heals” or “God has healed.” Raphael comes from the Hebrew word Rapha which means to “be still” “to release” and “let go”. Emerald green is the color associated with Raphael.

You can call upon Raphael anytime you need assistance. Angels are non-demoninational and trans-dimensional, not bound by the laws of time and space, so they can be with you at any moment, as well as with others who call upon them.

You must simply ask for assistance and the angel(s) are immediately with you as you need.

Raphael helps to heal your mind, mental thoughts, physical body and soul life energy field. Call upon Raphael to help you heal from any kind of addiction.

Focus at the area of your heart. See a beautiful thread of emerald green light radiating upward from your heart, connecting you with the universe and all that is.

See yourself surrounded by a halo of radiant emerald green light that is pulsing with vibrant life force energy.

Breathe in deeply and exhale. Release any tension, or feeling of heaviness.

Continue to breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax. With each breath you relax more and more deeply.

Continue to breathe, softly and peacefully as you absorb the emerald green healing light of love into all the cells of your being.

Feel yourself aglow with the emerald green healing light of love.

You are a beaming lighthouse of love.

You may channel this healing light of love through your hands or through your physical presence to heal any dis-ease within yourself, another, or our world.
